SelaQui International School, a residential school started in 2000, is Uttarakhand’s first school to offer the IB Diploma. It is also the first school to introduce systematic lesson planning into each class. The transition from “Chalk n Talk” to an interactive, technology driven lesson was also made for the first time by us.

SelaQui International School is also the first one to bring in a pastoral system, which takes care of the emotional and mental well being of the students. We are not simply a school with a hostel, but a family of individuals who find comfort in each other.

Mr. Om Pathak, a former IAS officer, is also an educationist to the core. Having been associated with the Colvin Taluqdar College and La Martiniere College in Lucknow, he set up the Delhi Public School in Ghaziabad in the early 1980’s. 

DPS Ghaziabad has grown from one school to four schools now, purely on its own merit, without getting into the franchisee mode. No wonder, the quality of education there is amongst the best in the Delhi NCR, and the school produced the CBSE National Topper in class 12 in 2011. The school sent nearly 30% of its class to IITs last year.
