SelaQui International School is the best boarding school in India providing a home away from home. The oft-quoted maxim above remains a primary concern of the parents while admitting their wards to a residential school. It is a common knowledge that a healthy body is a precursor to a healthy mind. Both are closely linked. SelaQui International School accords top priority to the health care of the students.
The school has well-equipped ten-bedded Infirmary to address the medical problems of the students. The Infirmary has separate provisions for boys and girls including an isolated air-conditioned ward which caters to serious cases.
Round-the -clock emergency medical facility is available at the Infirmary fostering a sense of safety and care. A qualified doctor comes four times a week for comprehensive check-up and expert advice on an any serious and communicable disease. He is ably assisted by the school health officer and a trained assistant who are on call twenty four hours a day. Our school ambulance is available at all times and in case of emergencies students are transferred to the modern “City Hospital” where they are attended to on priority bases as the school has a tie-up with the hospital. Our Food Services provides special diets for patients as and when prescribed by the doctor.
A complete medical check-up is compulsory for all students twice a year. Indexing and physical fitness test, according to age groups are done for all the students twice a year to keep a record of their psycho-motor skills. Moreover, students are also checked by specialists for eye/dental problems.
The school also has a counselor who helps the students on stress management, emotional issues and other age related problems.
