IB Curriculum The IB curriculum is divided into six groups. Different subjects are categorized in different groups fulfilling and satisfying the needs and the requirements of the IB. In order to earn a diploma, students normally select one subject from each group. [NOTE: Group VI is not required, students may select one extra subject from another group]. The subject selection is done based on the student’s future plans in consultation with the IB Coordinator and the Dean of Academics. The students must select three Higher Level subjects and three Standard Level subject for a diploma.
Currently the school offers the following subjects in the IB. However, we are willing to offer other subjects if there is sufficient demand from students. Possible additions to our subject offerings are: anthropology, history or geography in Group III; and sports science in Group IV.

My IB delegation has helped me immensely in my university life. I have received credits which has pushed me as a 2nd year standing in the first year of university itself. Also, due to the internal assignments done, I have developed in writing and covering essential essay writing skills which would have been lacking if I hadn't done IB. IB has taught me to be independent in my education and has taught me to broaden my knowledge in every aspect of line of study.
"The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at SelaQui International School has provided me with fantastic exposure to the curricular, extra-curricular, or to be more precise, a holistic framework of learning which I am sure I would not have got in any other place. SelaQui’s IB Programme makes you self-reliant in your tactics plus guides you throughout, makes us confident enough to acknowledge both success and failures with a desire to accomplish something out of nothing. The curriculum here is treated in such a manner such that we are proficient enough to grasp international perspectives of learning plus exploring our home culture and language.
To begin with, I think the IB Diploma has been a total game changer for me. I belong to a modest family and come from somewhat a rural town of Eastern Uttar Pradesh but here I am trying to share my experiences of the last two years in Canada and now Germany. I am only 21, but I have received some of the highest quality education, witnessed a variety of cultures and more importantly have developed a global outlook/network for my future. Today, I am in touch with some of the finest business professors and friends from all corners of the planet. All this was possible due to the IB Diploma because after completing it, getting into some of the top notch universities across the world was a dream comes true for me. No doubt that completing the IB Diploma is very difficult and requires tremendous amount of dedication and hard work but once you are through (with good grades of course), you will be part of a community consisting of the world’s finest high school graduates.
After completing my Diploma I applied in two universities, the Melbourne Business School (Australia’s best business school) and Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada (one of the top 10 University of Canada). I got accepted in both and that too without the help of any student consulting agencies. I opted for Carleton University because their business program was unique and the university offered me more scholarship than MBS. Once in Canada, I not only received education but also international exposure which has been really important for me. It is due to IB education and exposure; I am currently studying as an exchange student in TU Berlin, Germany for two semesters. I’ve seen North America and now its time to explore Europe.
