I take great pride in writing this report on the Senior Dorm that houses students of Classes X, XI and XII. Being the Hostel Warden it is my responsibility to mentor these students, to guide them along each step and correct them when they are in the wrong. Living in a residential school enables them to meet and live with students of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Not only do they study together, but also are team mates and sometimes rivals on the sports field and in inter-house competitions. Back in the dorm they become each other’s family and support system.
I find a spirit of unity among the Senior Boys. Apart from being sincere in their academics they are also guided towards being more responsible and respectful individuals who will be ready to face the world. When it comes to talent, there is no shortage, with many students excelling in tennis, football, basketball and shooting etc, not forgetting singing, dancing and public speaking.
Although the students have limited access to the internet and television they keep themselves up to date with the current happening in India and around the world be it in the field of Business, Politics or Sports. An intelligent and well informed group, they are always trying to better themselves in every way.
At the end I have just one message for my boys “ Set your goals high and don’t stop till you get there !!”
