Maharashtra SSC Mark Sheets to be Distributed Today after 3pm

In a latest move in the Indian education sector the mark sheets of the secondary school certificate (SSC, class X) examination will be distributed by respective schools on Saturday at 3 pm. The results of the examination were announced online on June 7, by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. Students can access the results of their examination online on June 7 by the respective authority.

It is important to emphasis here that the examination was conducted across nine divisional boards in Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur, Mumbai, Konkan and Kolhapur. Respective school authority will be provided with the result books and mark-sheets at 11 am Saturday however, students can get their copy from 3pm.

According to the statements given by the state board students who wish to get their marks verified will have to submit an application in the prescribed format to the respective divisional boards from June 15 to June 25 along with the prescribed fee. A photocopy of the original mark sheet has to be attached to the application form. Photocopies of mark sheets downloaded from the websites will not be accepted for the application for verification.

Students who wish to reappear for the SSC exam to be conducted in October 2013 should submit the exam application form in the prescribed format to the schools with regular fees by June 25 and with late fees till June 29. TNNUnder the class improvement scheme introduced by the board in 2008, students who wish to improve on their performance have two chances to reappear for the examin October 2013 and March 2014, the statement said.

UP Board class X Results Declared

In a latest news in the Indian education sector Uttar Pradesh (UP) Secondary Education Board on Saturday declared class 10th (high school) results. According to reports from the authority out of 34 lakhs students 29 lakhs were declared passed constituting a total pass percentage of 87%.

As usual girls outperformed boys in the examination with a total pass percentage of 92%.The pass percentage of boys was reported to be 83% a sharp reduction of 9% comparatively. Some of the toppers who rocked the examination are Ashutosh Mishra, a student from Barabanki District of the state. Mishra emerged as the highest rank holder in the ladder and scored a pass percentage of 97%. Ashutosh was followed by Aradhana Shukla a student from Barabanki District; she stood second with a total pass percentage of 96.17%.

As many as 114 under trial who appeared in examination from jail, also cleared examinations. Like class 12th results, students of small towns and rural areas did better in class 10th as well. Pass percentage of Maharajganj was highest in comparison to all the districts. The lowest pass percentage was in Pilibhit. Lucknow was at 37th place. Total districts in the state are 75.
