Cambridge Lower Secondary at SelaQui will offer a range of subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, ICT and Global Perspectives. Apart from these subjects, as part of our continuing pursuit for developing inquiry, students will have the support in the following subjects as well in Grades 5-8. These are Hindi, French, Social Studies, Citizenship, SEE Learning, Art and Music.

What will be the assessment process in Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE?
Assessments in both Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE will be a combination of internal and external assessments. Internal assessments will be conducted by our teachers as a formative tool to course correct the learning progression and may include coursework, projects, and class participation. External assessments will be conducted at the end of each stage akin to Cambridge Progression Tests which will serve as summative and are designed to measure a student's overall understanding of the subject.
Can my child switch to a different curriculum after completing Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE?
Yes, both Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE are designed to be flexible curricula that prepare students for a range of educational pathways. After completing these programs, students can choose to continue their studies with Cambridge Upper Secondary, A-levels, the International Baccalaureate, or other qualifications.
What is the school day like?
The school day is structured. Our students are busy from morning 6:00 am until 10:30 pm. From breakfast and house jobs to attending classes, sports and games, evening and night preps, our students are constantly engaged in something or the other.
Is the school a co-ed institution?
It is a Co- Ed Boarding School, with classes from V to XII.
How often do the students go on break?
There are two major breaks: summer and winter, which are at least 30 days long, and a Diwali break.
Where do your students come from?
Students at SelaQui International School come from all Indian States and foreign countries.

There is an active career counselling unit in the school to guide students on career choices. The school has an enabling environment to encourage students to achieve their potential.
What if my child feels homesick?
Every student is assigned a student mentor for the first few weeks to make her/him comfortable, familiarise with the school infrastructure, practices, and ethos. Moreover, there is a whole pastoral team for all-round support and care.
